Brief Description

International Credit Transfer (ICT), also known as ICT, is part of the Indonesian Government's Independent Learning Campus (Kampus Merdeka) initiative (MBKM). This program aims to facilitate students in enhancing their competencies, both in terms of technical skills and interpersonal skills, as well as providing them with the opportunity to study at foreign universities. It is also designed to improve students' understanding of the social and cultural aspects of foreign countries and serves as a response to the increasingly competitive global landscape in various fields. Through International Credit Transfer, students have the opportunity to interact directly with students and communities abroad.

Eligibility

Applicant should:
  • Undergraduate (S1) and Postgraduate (S2 and S3) students Indonesian citizen.
  • Students of at least 3 (three) semesters in the current semester.
  • Registered and active as a student at PTN or PTS and in the Database Higher Education (PDDikti).
  • Have a TOEFL certificate with a minimum score of 500 or minimum IELTS 6.0. or a certificate of proficiency in English and another foreign language equivalent.
  • Acceptance letter from partner universities abroad/Letter Acceptance (LoA)
  • Students are not currently receiving similar assistance from the Ministry Education, Culture, Research and Technology.

Scholarship Coverage

  • Education costs (e.g. registration fees, printing fees for academic certificates/transcripts, program fees, library fees, etc.)
  • Costs of purchasing learning materials (e.g. books, journals, modules, videos, etc.)
  • Settlement and Living Allowance (Lump sum)
  • Office Stationery Costs (consumables/rental)

Program Objective

International Credit Transfer program provides opportunities for Indonesian students to interact with students and communities abroad. Consequently, students will gain added value in the form of improved hard and soft skills, expanded and strengthened networks, cooperation, social and cultural understanding, and the internationalization of the higher education system in Indonesia. Institutionally, a paradigm shift in the quality, networks, and innovation in education will result from the learning experience aimed at personal development that can contribute positively to national development and the competitiveness of the nation on the international stage in the 21st century.
